Red Bull project/ Pre-Production

Research Art Styles
As I was the artist in the team my role was to produce the concept art, stylistic aproach and build and texture the 3d elements of the advert. So, I started by researching previous art styles, animations and 3d works that inspired me and we decided to go more with the Mac 'n' Cheese visual style.

Red Bull Advert

The third and final year at the University of South Wales has started. I'm really excited about it :) ! So, as a first project our assignment was to split in groups and produce a character sting/ advert which would vary from a 10second sting to a full advert. All members of the group would share the workload of production, as well as direction, creative ideas and input. We were three people working together for this project, Alex Breeze, Ben Jones including myself.

After we decided to go with the Red Bull advert, we researched previous works and noticed that the adverts followed simplistic and comical 2d style and most of them featured the slogan "Red Bull gives you wings". So, we though to adapt this idea and create a funny advert working on a 3d production pipeline, keeping however the stylized 2d aspect of it.
